I kinda stole this from Rob. He asked how you got your nicknames. Sorry Rob, forgive me. I was wondering how ya'll came to pick the symbol you did. I just picked the crab because my favorite color is orange and no one else has a crab, so if you see one, you know it's me.

Tiger, your crab is definitely awesome b/c i always know it's you posting when i see the color orange, but it would be even cooler if you had a bengal tiger for an icon...that would really fit the name

Thanks Hales... A bengal would be sweet, but the crab will do.

The "Demon" icon certainly fits the persona of Evilmav. Sportstalk users learned to fear the wrath of the Evil... I don't know what I will do if someone else attempts to usurp it down the line...

well, i figured the baghead would best represent the feelings of a fan of the worst nba team of the 90s. much like the many saints fans who go to games with bags over their heads. i'll keep it, even though we're doing well, cause it's grown on me.

What makes you think he/she isn't an African American woman?

The Snake is the mascot of Theta Chi fraternity, the first fraternity to use it in their Coat of Arms, to the best of my knowledge. Then, those bastard Sigma Nu's decided to start using it. If you see a Sigma Nu, give him the finger.

Sigma Nus are druggie meatheads. at least they were at my school. a cross between KAs and SAEs. Can't say i've ever met a Theta Chi, so i don't know how to stereotype you.

Apparently, according to the sororities, we're the snobs. I think we're the drunks, though. ATO here are the rich kids.

I wish there were more icons. Of all the ones not currently in use, I hate this one the least. Of course it's cool that there are icons at all.

There's an icon thread somewhere in the General Mavs area where people can post icons they'd like to see on this board. Since it's not possible for individually-assigned icons, I'm having to be pretty selective about what gets chosen for the board. There are only about 200 members here so far, but as the site grows (<ahem> this summer ), I don't want to have the system cluttered with a million custom icons. But if you know of a kickass icon you think would benefit others here, go ahead and post it! The thread is called **Official Icon Thread** or something like that.

How do you resize the icon? Or do you do that?

You can resize it using a program like Photoshop or just send it to me and I'll do it.
