GDT: Portland at Dallas December 15, 8:30 p.m. central (Dueling Gameday Banjos)
I'm posting all my gameday thoughts in this thread. It should be the official one but Mavs777 had to f*ck it up. If others want to use this one, use this one.

Our GDT's are as inconsistent as the mavs defense seems to be. :0

When I was at the Legends game last night, I was sitting next to a scout for the Blazers. He was telling me that their front-court injuries have really killed them. Basically, any team that loses a starting caliber big and your primary backup big, any team is going to struggle.
He went on to say they're staying in games but they just can't hit timely shots. He said they were in the games against OKC, Boston and other big teams...they just couldn't hit critical shots down the stretch to try to pull ahead.
Take that for what it's worth.

The Skull of Roy Tarpley says: " Proper sacrifices of prisoners and
captives will lead to Mavericks victories and robust harvests."
Let's get this mojo back on track...

Guys, I have two Platinum level tickets (sec 216) that I really need to sell because I can't make Wednesday games. I always knew it was easier selling for weekend games but I never figured it would be this difficult to unload these. I am so desperate to get rid of these that I'm even willing to email the tickets to you and let you enjoy the game BEFORE you paid. Please contact me if you are interested.
Meanwhile, let's start a new win streak shall we?

FWIW, it is sorta weird that we have two home games in a row on ESPN.

I'm wondering if this is worth starting a thread for, or if I should just keep it in here. Quoting again to get more views:

Setting the Table for Portland versus Dallas
The Portland Trail Blazers come to town on Wednesday night, a nationally televised game, and they've had the Mavericks' number. The all-time record against Portland is 18-44. Portland won 3 out of 4 encounters against Dallas last season, including a game in Dallas that went to overtime. That game had Andre Miller scoring 52 points. What exactly did Portland do last season to have their success? "Everything," said Carlisle.
Portland is currently one game under .500 (12-13), injuries to their front-line players such as Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla have hurt them. Despite the injuries, they're still a team that has the attention of Mavericks Coach Rick Carlisle, "They're just a very good overall team, very experienced, very physical, have a lot of dangerous players and can hurt you a lot of different ways."

With Tarpley, shouldn't it be "I crave three 8-(balls) before victory"?

Portland is one of the youngest teams in the league, yet they have 80-year-old-like knees. How can this be? Mavs steal their crutches and beat them above the head with them in a 100-80 win.

Allright...about to head out to the arena. I'm in the welcoming line tonight!!! It's a deal where they take a bunch of fans into the tunnel (if you've seen the dallas mavs insder, it's usually at the beginning credits) and we slap hands with the guys coming out. Woo Hoo..
If I can get video, i'll post it.
Go mavs, let's get some heinie!!

NBA.com has this game listed at 8:30 central start time. I need to know which one it is so I can plan my workout accordingly.

Two years ago the Blazers were the young hyped team of the league
Now they have the oldest knees in the league and everyone jumped on the Thunder bandwagon. Too bad.

Offensively, RC doesn't care how many points His team scores but he cares about points per possession on defense.
More on twitter @ballinwithbryan
There's also going to be a huge piece on espndallas/espn very soon with cubans bcs master plan.
