where do you predict the mavs finish in the western conference?
watching butler and dirk go down has been tough for all mav fans. as it stands now, january 15th, 2011, we are in the 3rd spot.
i feel like by the time dirk comes back, hopefully soon, we will be in the 6th spot. where do you think we will end up? |

i voting for a hopeful 4th.
i think utah will climb, but i dont like thinking about finishing behind oklahoma, n.o., or denver. |

That depends on when Dirk comes back, if Dirk doesn't have any setbacks when he does, when Roddy comes back, if Roddy doesn't have any setbacks when he does, how effective Roddy will be in this lineup when he comes back, whether or not we make a trade or two before the deadline, how well the new players(s) gel and if everybody can stay healthy before the playoffs roll around.
52+ wins, 2nd or 3rd seed... (why not??)

4th...Mavs made it all the way to the Finals as the 4th seed so I kinda want history repeats itself but with a different outcome in the end.

The hardest thing to do is "leapfrog" teams. So if Dirk is going to miss 2-3 more games.... then Utah/Oklahoma City will have a couple of gameson the Mavs.

Id say we end up with 48 wins this year, and once again out in the first round. i want to stay positive but we need more than dirk to gain hardware!
