GDT: Hornets (1-3) at Mavs (2-2) 7:30pm
Mavs look to get above .500 again against a struggling team.
Parsons still limited to 15 minutes, but may see some minutes in the second half

I know its early but Mavs need to start playing with a chip on their shoulder.
Kornheiser was talking a lot of crap on Kobe the other day saying the Lakers' losses were to all non-PO caliber teams.

The Mavs get their first (of many) home wins tonigh... The Hornies try to match the Leakers' inefficiency with an 1-4 record... Mavs' starters play no more than 20 minutes... Mavs' bench outscores the Hornies' bench by at least 10 points... a no-contest:
Mavs - 111
Hornies - 99

I'd like to see the Mavs come out hot and stay well ahead of the Hornets -- they're not nearly as bad as their early-season record indicates... Oh, wait, the Hornets are in Charolette, not New Orleans: easy win.

Go Mavs. Someone other than Dirk should score most. Who can it be tonight..

I love the offensive aggression. Even his misses look good. Eventually teams will start mentioning him in their scouting reports, but he looks like a much improved rebounder.

D-will is too slow at this point. When he comes in the game slows down to a crawl.

Well I don't mind when Deron plays it half court on offense. But that's why he works good with JJ. Sometimes Deron can run the fast breaks too. I think Carlisle is limiting him right now.

Charlotte makes it so slow and boring. Mavs are a faster team than that.

This team is just not talented. Switch the coaches and we have a blowout.

They are lucky it's only -11 before the fourth.
Let Jenkins try. He could actually make some shots.

It's like each player on our team is trying to top the other by seeing who can take the worst shot.

Missed the first half, but I flipped it on in time to watch the Mavs "B" team throw up about 12 bricks in a row. Put in Jenkins. Maybe he can heat up in a hurry.

Deron is our biggest X factor. His half court scoring is key this year.

I swear sometimes I forget that we even have great players like Dirk, Williams, and Matthews because our bench players are out there for so long. I know like half our guys are on minute restrictions but it really gets old watching Powell miss bunny shots in the paint, Villanueva throwing up bricks and Harris taking horribly contested layups for 7-8 minute stretches.
