Default PGT: Mavs hand Dubs their second loss of the season

I don't care who was playing for the Warriors tonight, it's still a big win...

When Deron is back? I wonder if Rick would have balls to bench him. JJ is playing amazing basketball with the first unit.
Parsons is quietly helping us now that he is fully back.
Zaza is a monster.
Matthews offense becoming consistent.
Two bad Dirk games in a row and were still winning it.

Great stuff.

Was just talkin about this with a buddy. IMO Dwil will start again obviously but while JJ is en fuego I think it's really hard to disrupt his rhythm.

And big props to Rick. Proving again why is he is so good. Even without Curry this is still GSW basketball. Walton had no clue what to do. We dominate all quarters.

JJ has been straight ballin' lately. Zaza with another double double (14/15) and the starters didn't play heavy minutes which is always a plus. Good way to end 2015.

Deron would probably check out and play like crap or even fake an injury. Do not mess with his psyche. JJB is ok off the bench. He can handle it much better than Deron.

Deron will definitely feel some positive pressure now.

Solid team win with Deron out and Parsons going at almost 100 percent.

Considering what happened with Nets, it's actually better for him to see that he is not needed this much. I have been a bit worried since previous games have shown that Mavs go as far as Deron can take them but we know DWill can't handle being 'the man' so well - or maybe chemistry was just that awful in Brooklyn.

I don't really see why DWill would mind coming off the bench. He did it last season and it's not like he's going to have this role until the end of season. Barea will go cold again and unless RC is going to repeat his threat of trading everyone, it's perfect time for DWill to take over starting lineup duties.

Mavs 52 to GS 37 rebounds was huge.
And as a team we shot 51% FGA, 52% on 3pt then 80% at the line...
on a nice little roll here.

After Rondo, the Mavs don't care about diva point guards. I give mad respect every time I think about the team voting to not let Rondo get a playoff paycheck.

Let's not forget that Dwill gave us some great clutch stretches this season. Carlisle is going to have to find that balance in the lineup and the PG position and try to get the best out of Dwill and JJ. I'll tell you what, if we can get back the Dwill from earlier in the season and JJ plays at the level he's been playing at lately, that's a pretty potent combination.

I'd love to see the advanced stats on Wes's defense this season if someone wants to post them. If he isn't the best perimeter defender in the league, then he has to be top 5 at least.

I dont thins DWill will or should be benched. I think if anything JJs minutes should increase some to help him stay hot and get some minutes with the starters.

I've been saying all year long that JJ (and Devin) roles have been limited this season due to Felton and DWill's great play. Now that JJ has been in a much larger role he is more comfortable.

No way does DWill get benched over Barea but I do think Barea has made Felton a trade option again and with Felton's great play this season could help net a very useful backup center. Not saying we should just dump Felton by any means but do think we should consider moving him if we can improve at backup center or another position of need.

Wow, this was Golden State's worst loss since 2013... Nice.

D-Will will play tonight. Will he start? Will we get a GDT?
