GDT game 68 - Mavs (29-38) at Sixers (24-43) 6:00 FSSW
Noel comes home and we see Anderson for the first time since the trade. Philly is 2-8 in last 10 and without Embiid. Mavs are 7-3 over last ten.
Injuries
Matthews - hamstring - questionable

Noel is probably hyped, but he might be surprised by how depression triggering it will be to walk in that arena again.

At this game ...just go to my seat. I was able to snap a few pics of pics of Dirk shooting his one legged fade away. I have been a Mavs fan since 2000 and had to see Dirk before he hangs them up. I was also hoping to see Embid and Simmons...but this is awesome and hope we get the W.

Tonight, Anderson scores 38 and grabs 12 rebounds, BUT Papa Noel scores 45 and grabs 20 rebounds, so the 67s (a number of wins they will not get on this decade!) as usual, lose big time....
Mavs - 111
67s - 101

Avoid the trap game. Mavs gotta take care of business. Meanwhile Lauri Markkanen didn't play like top 10 pick status in his game last night watching March madness. He possibly could fall on the Mavs lap at the 15-20 pick we get.

Why do the Mavs always look so old and tired?

I just love how we allow dribble penetration on seemingly every possession.

Can't believe Noel doesn't start. Underrated offensive player

Since the start of March Wes is shooting 30% from the field 33% from 3 and is averaging 8/3/3.

No amount of good Barea does makes up for fouling a guy on the three point line. Good grief.

The Mavs are just bad. Wes can't even catch a ball from Barea.

It's ok guys. Only 27 of our 102m cap next year is going to Wes and Dwight Powell. No big deal.

What compounds that fact is a bunch of mediocre players that surround them. I think they all know they have no shot at the playoffs.

Wouldn't have expected this collective no-show. But that's what mediocre teams do. One day you grind one out against the Wizards and the next day you are getting blown out of the building by the freaking 76ers. After the great win in Washington guys might have relaxed a bit too much in anticipation of an easier opponent...

Lol the high scorer would be Justin Anderson. Because Mavs. Let's please tank our way to a top 5 pick. Nothing else makes sense.

The Mavs were in full-on tank mode today.... Maybe the FO liked what they saw out of Markkanen yesterday (or Dennis Smith's stock has dropped enough) to get them looking at a top-10 pick differently?

It looks like the Mavs are returning to the level they had before Barea's injury.

Rick overplaying Matthews will go down as one of his biggest coaching blunders. I know it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of his great coaching career, but it sure is obvious now. He and Wes seem to be too pig headed to do anything about it. It's as if they are both begging for another injury. Running injury prone vets into the ground needs to end completely next season. It doesn't work, and the vets don't last.
