The LA Otters come to town, and although all variables point out to a Mavs' loss, my otter senses are tingling towards a Mavs' surprise... Papa Noel outplays DeAndra, Sir Dirk scores another double-double, Barnes stops Friggin's offense, and Yogi Bear becomes ChitPee3's Papa Bear... surprise, surprise....
Mavs - 104
LA Otters - 100

I want us to get another loss as much as I want to spank the Clips. I will be happy and sad either way.

Hell yes... Give me a 2OT loss with tomorrow's ESPN headlines reading "The Clippers Are Pretenders, Not Contenders" and I'll be happy as a pig in shit.

Much rather a loss at this point. Gotta keep the Monk/Smith/Fox hope alive.

Tanking is for the bandwagon. Mavs can still get that 8 game win streak which could be good enough to clinch. If Carlisle starts Noel, then the team really wants to try to win this.

Forget Deandre. And especially that circus franchise who's probably equal to the Rockets one.

Tanking is for the potentially better player in the draft. These games are fast becoming meaningless. Even 8 straight may not clinch it.

Look I get it. I've gotten the whole tank term since spurs hustled their way to draft Duncan... but Mavs have their own leverage to try to make a push into playoffs. While getting a lottery pick at the same time. The first 20 picks in the draft are the best since who knows. Primarily because there is at least 20 picks that could be very serviceable players for any team. Plus the Mavs aren't even close. Or were never close to top 3 pick. So if you don't have top 3... then take top 15 for granted.

This team does look good with a Barnes, Dirk, and Noel tandem.

Damn I hate the Clips. Especially hate how they make me want us to not lose this game. I hate how I'm happy Paul got hurt. It makes me feel like a scumbag. I hate the Clips.
