...this is the logical way to go...
..., but a win would make me happy for the dignity, honor, and hate towards C3P0, DieAndra, and both Rivers Sr. & Jr.
Sorry...
Mavs win this particular series...
Mavs - 96
Clipped - 94

If Wes was on there instead of Curry we'd be looking at the perfect "injury" report.

Would be completely asinine if Dirk plays. That achilles isnt a joke and I dont want to see him play another game this season.

Nobody gets hurt. Though I would love it if Brussino tries to get his 50 point game.

Dirk is back in the starting lineup. Guess the achilles feels ok.

Is anyone still impressed with DFS? Seems like he has regressed as the season is gone on.

Yogi owning Paul was worth the game.

I don't think maxing Noel is as sure of a thing as it was a few weeks ago.

Brussino can really handle the ball for someone with that frame. That hesitation dribble looked awkward and nice at the same time.

Thank god Rick waited so long to play Nico, we probably would have won the game if he didn't.

Has the measurements but he tailed off, as a lot of young guys do who werent sought after. Hopefully the offseason he can bring something else to the table.

No I just haven't really been impressed with his skill set. He might still have soreness in his knee though. The fact that he averages 21.8 mpg in his last 5 probably attests to not wanting risk injury.

It's a long season. Like others on the team he's probably just worn out. Hopefully he works on his game this summer and comes back next year ready to go.

Well, it's not like anyone on this squad is going to bring their A-game when there's nothing left to play for... Really, the only guys with any motivation are the ones playing for a contract.

I expect his ceiling to be in the rotation in the Aminu role someday and nothing more.
However, Brussino is looking like he could become something special and Wes probably isn't going anywhere so I could see DFS falling into that Crowder/Anderson situation of getting buried on the bench next season and getting thrown into a mid-season trade deal.

Well going from playoff push to playing in games that might bring back memories of 76ers game probably had something to do with it. Thats not a valid excuse but I could see that from his perspective.
I really hope he can improve in the offseason. I dont expect him to bulk in a few months but polish and improve in small areas. Full camp with Dirk/Barnes/Curry should bring him along and up to speed.

I still think Yogi has as much upside as any of the young guys on the roster. He really went after Chris Paul and didn't back down. That takes some cajones against such a good player.
Yogi's biggest weakness is being unsure of what to do running the team. I think a training camp would help fix that. I think he has the ability to attack the rim a loooot more.

Yogi is a fearless little dude -- like Barea, but way more skilled on the defensive end.

I don't think Yogi will be a starter, but I would love for him to come off the bench and be an extreme energy guy that keeps the team rolling. He seems to really excel when the game is pushed to a very high pace and he relies on basketball instinct/emotion.
The opposite happens when it's slowed down and he has to rely on plays and decisions. I don't know yet whether it's because of overall BBIQ or if it's just lack of RC system knowledge that may be drastically improved over the off-season + training camp.
