I know my reputation on the board, but at the same time I think that it needs to be said that Phil is in deep dodo. He has no Mike, and now he has no Shaq. He thought maybe he had a kid named Kobe that was suppose to be the next Mike, but that hasn't happened, and in fact, it has failed misserably. They arent' suppose to be 3-7, excuse me 3-8. Smile.
They have a real problem in Lakerville, and unless something happens now, and I mean by then end of the first 20 games, or the Lakeshow will be lucky to make the playoffs. Kobe isn't going to get them there.

Here is the 50 million dollar question. If Shaq comes back, does he just step in, and return to form? Just like that? Or does he struggle, and will it take him time? If so, then how much time? And just where at in the standings do the Lakers fall when it becomes panic, and they are in jeppordy of missing out entirely. Just food for thought.

The Laker's suck, no matter how many Banners they have hanging. They will always be pond scum, and thats all I have to say about that.....

I would change all the Mavs humility for just one banner.

Phil's a great orchestrator but he's not much of a game coach.

I think that Shaq will come back, and he will be Shaq. Even if he plays with intense pain, and it's so bad he has to retire after this year, he'll still come back and lead the team to at least the WCF. As much as I dislike Shaq's game and the dislodging he gets away with, the bottom line is the guy is determined to win as much or more than anybody else in the L.
