I just wanted to konw if any of u guys know what I need because I am reading about it on the internet but getting confused. Do I have to buy this plus a modem also?
And also I thought maybe for everyone who has one we could play each other online some time. So I thought maybe everyone who has one could just post it here. Peace out.

From what I have read, the PS2 online is not up to snuff, whereas the XBOX live is better. I don't have an X-Box of high-speed internet access so online gaming is of little interest to me.

I've seen prices from 40-50 dollars on the internet so expect something around that price range. IT comes with some sample discs to test it out also.

I have both and do like xbox LIVE better but both have equally as may pluses and minuses.

Nope. Well just an ethernet cable to connect it.

It retails for $39.

Comes with 2 playable demos.(Madden and Frequency). But also includes a mail-in coupon for a free copy of Twisted Metal Black Online.

Rob, did you get that Activision Anthology? I think it is fun to play 20 year old games on the PS2. Also nice to have a game that doesn't take 30 seconds to load every scene.

Yep, over Xbox LIVE though.
Dooby, don't have the new one but my brother has the old one. Pure gaming bliss.
