Utah's schedule is not all that easy. They could easily go 3 wins and 4 losses. I don't look for much help from Utah keeping LA out of the 6th spot.

Apr 4 Fri New York
Apr 6 Sun @ Seattle
Apr 8 Tue @ Golden State
Apr 9 Wed Houston
Apr 11 Fri Dallas
Apr 14 Mon San Antonio
Apr 16 Wed @ Sacramento

There is a slight possibility the Lakers could reach 5th with their schedule and Portland self destructing the way they are.

with Twolves losing today lakers are in it to meet portland in the first round. I cannot wait to see Blazers. Last year Pippen addressed the reporters saying they need to avoid lakers to advance deep in the playoffs. Here come the lakers.

Anyways, It looks like mavs would probably win the last game against Spurs. If the midwest is won by Spurs by that time they will likely not play their top players and thus Dallas will have homecourt in the second round if they meet Kings. Either way looks like we should not underestimate Lakers.
