The more I think about the back to back scheduled in this series the angrier I get. I decided to look up some what each team has done in back to backs. What I found is disturbing to say the least.
Mavs Record: 20-10 13-9 Road Record Winning Percentage: 59% Road Games Non Back to Back: 14-5 Winning %: 74% Sac Kings Record: 25-13 Home Record: 10-1 Winning Percentage: 90% Home Games Non Back to Back: 25-5 Winning %: 83% Not surpisingly the Mavs are worse on the road in back to back games. The Kings however (this season anyway) are actually stonger at home in back to back games. I think the back to back clearly favors the Kings. The combination of their depth, the Mavs short rotation, and the Mavs having to fight through a 7 game series wil be difficult to overcome. |

But mavs did not play the same team back to back.
I would take 1-1 on the road if it is back to back against good teams.

Of course, I think anyone would be thrilled with a split out in Sacto.
I was just trying to illustrate that (and not surprisingly) the Mavs are not as good of a road team when they are on either end of a back to back. The Kings meanwhile don't appear to struggle a bit on back to backs at home. Looking at the statistics if the shoe was on the other foot, Sacto would be taking it in the pants. |

I dont really care what is going to happen in back to back game as long as we hold two home games in here. Then we are actually better of playing back to back on the road hoping that we might become the team with little more energy to steal a game from Arco.
that would sum up nice for dallas. |

Most probrably to see them come back again to make it even with 3-3 (like blazers) and all season goes to the last shot by Clark again in game 7!
