Default Zoran Planinic

Take this for what it is worth, but Skin of the Mavericks post-game show on the ticket says that if this guy is there at 29, the Mavs will scrap everything and take him. nbadraft.net and ESPN have him going 22 to the Nets.

Decisions, decisions. Let's see:

1) Badiane
2) Zarko
3) Planinic
4) Sasha (the bastard dropped out!)
5) Ebi

There are just so many options. Can we trade everyone not named the big 3, and Bradley, and go for some of these players. This draft is amazing.

A deep draft sure, but let's not name any of these guys as all stars quite yet. The draft is a gamble at best.....

That wouldn't surprise me. From the draft reports he sounds similar to Jiri Welsh who was drafted by Golden State last year. I specifically remember Donnie on Norm's show last year after the draft praising Golden State's draft. He was very high on Welsh.

I think the Malick plan is if all those Euro's are gone. I'm meaning Planinic, Pavlovic, Diow, etc. the swingmen 3 guys that could be really worth something. I think if anyone like these guys drops we'll take them. Who I'm curious about is Barbosa and Delfino, both are slipping a bit and easily could be there. Both sound pretty damn good for a #29 pick IMO.

Rumor is that the Nets have him pegged at #22, a few picks before the Mavs. What a coincidence that Mavs and Nets trade rumors are hitting the newspapers this week. Something fishy is going on here. And I really like fish.
