I can't imagine why Mayo isn't a naturally good P&R player...seems like it would fit his game so well.

Now that Dirk is feeling it... we should be going to him during this last minute.
Good to see Mayo hit those FTs, though.

Should have kept collision in. You could tell he wasn't happy being pulled. Hell anyone wouldn't like that.

Great job by James funneling Harden to Brand. Great job by Brand responding to the drive. Very reminiscent to me for some reason of WCF game 5 in 2012, where Marion leaked out for the score on Durant with about 2 minutes left in the game.

Collison wasn't the problem offensively, Mayo was.

So you were happy with the pick up the ball 5 ft outside the 3 point line play collison kept running every time down the court.

Hubie is showing some pretty bias colors.
Does he own stock in James Harden?

Crunch time is about
- defense
- avoiding TOs
- playing a 2 man game with Dirk
- taking open shots
James does all 4 things. Collison not so much.
Rick agrees, Hubie agreees and i agree. You not so much.
ps: http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?id=400278295
James +17 Collison -12

Unless Dirk is asking to be taken out, ride that horse.
Seems like "no duh" coaching 101.

WTF is everyone talking about?
You know why he didn't go to Dirk? Because Dirk came out to set a screen, and couldn't get himself open, because James' guy was shading onto him.

Really? Dirk's obviously still not 100% so he's probably not the best option for defense. If the Rockets make a bucket, Rick can call a timeout and bring Dirk back in for offense. If they miss, mavs shoot FTs and win anyway.

You guys can say what you'd like, but James was about a million times better on defense on Lin than Collison did down the stretch. DC was -8 in the fourth quarter, James was +4.

There was a lot of time on the clock.. He didn't have to take the long 2. (The possession after the late shot clock 3 that Dirk forced him into)
