Belarus.
Dirk had a really amazing put back dunk and a couple of nice blocks and steals.
Don't know about the minutes, but it has to be something like 29 minutes. but I'm sure about the points, etc.:
33 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks.
I'm sure now that his footwork has improved defense-wise and he seems just a little bit stronger in his upper body, which includes quicker arms and hands. He's put on a defense-show tonight - great game!

It sounds like you guys are referring to the game in past tense now..... so is it over? What was the final score?
edit: Also, thanks for the updates.... and to Arne for the translation of the article.

RE: Nowitzki Interview - "There's a lot I can still improve!"
the german team wouldn't be able to compete with other teams if they were without dirk. it will be interesting to see them play against a stronger opponent like greece. if the opposing team finds a way to shutdown dirk ... we will be in trouble....

No problem. But I don't know the exact final score, but germany won by something like 15-20 points.

Hi,
the game ended 75-59. Dirk looked good on both sides of the ball. But the team wasn't synchronized that good (well i think u can't expect that in the first game )

Nice to see Dirk doing so well on the defensive end as well on the offensive end. I hope this carries over well to the next NBA season.

Yeah, thanks for the images. And for the recaps and translation.
On a side note, that's a pretty tight ball they have there. Maybe the NBA ought to spiece theirs up a bit.

But both websites only sell the old jerseys. If I were you, capitalcity, I would wait for the new ones to come out.

It would have been a much more fair matchup if you put Ryan Bowen on Belarus.

There are a lot more images at the getty site than just these two. Joe Bob says "check it out".

I was in Germany last year . Flew in and out of Frankfurt, visited the palace at Würzburg, stayed in Friesing, partied in Munchen, drove the Romantic highway into Austria, saw the Mozart festival in Salzburg (not Germany, I know, but still ...). Managed 200 kph on the Autobahn (beep beep!). GREAT food, friendly people. Best business trip I've ever taken. If I was going to live overseas, Germany would be it for me.
